ECSFCU was proud to sponsor and support TEDxKids@ElCajon on Saturday, May 17 at Greenfield Middle School. It was a truly inspiring event that brought together over 1,650 attendees, including more than 550 Cajon Valley students, for a day filled with creativity, courage, and connection.
This year’s theme, Level Up, was more than a slogan — it was a movement. With 24 powerful student TEDx talks ranging from 2nd graders to high schoolers, 19 unforgettable stage performances, and 12 hands-on experiences in the Pixel Playground, the event was a vibrant celebration of young voices, talent, and innovation.
TEDxKids@ElCajon isn’t just about the incredible students who take the stage to share their ideas; it’s also about the 150+ students who participate in TED-Ed Clubs throughout the year, developing the confidence and skills to shape and share their voices. Behind every student talk is a network of caring adults who make it possible, and we want to give a heartfelt shoutout to the TEDxKids team, TED-Ed site leads, speaker coaches, and community speaker mentors. Your passion, time, and guidance are helping shape the next generation of thinkers and leaders.
ECSFCU was honored to play a part behind the scenes, helping provide breakfasts and lunches for the committee and volunteers before, during, and after the event. We also sponsored custom branded sweatshirts for the committee, supported overtime pay for district staff and bus drivers working the event, and even pitched in with event setup. While the spotlight shines on stage, we recognize the incredible effort happening year-round to make an event of this scale possible — and we’re proud to contribute in any way we can.
At ECSFCU, supporting education goes beyond finances — it’s about investing in the people and possibilities that shape our future. Thank you for letting us be part of this journey. Let’s keep leveling up, together.
