Open End Loans

Open End Loans* are available to members once a loan application is completed and a maximum loan limit is determined. All or part of this amount may then be borrowed whenever necessary as long as members stay within their approved loan limits and continue to have a good credit rating.

Overdraft Protection, VISA credit cards, Personal Lines of Credit and Home Equity Lines of Credit are examples of Open End Loans.

Members must complete a new statement of financial condition every three years to continue to borrow on an Open End Loan.

*Open-end credit is a pre-approved line of credit between East County Schools Federal Credit Union (ECSFCU) and a member that may be used repeatedly up to a certain limit and can subsequently be paid back prior to payments coming due. The pre-approved amount will be set out in the agreement between ECSFCU and the borrower.

  • David Miyashiro

East County Schools Federal Credit Union has been a long standing partner of the Cajon Valley Union School District. In addition to being a crucial partner in school finance, they've become a part of the Cajon Valley Family, supporting our employees and students both in and out of the classroom. On a personal level, I became a member-owner and financed my car with ECSFCU. Could not be more pleased!
