Chris Whitney joined the East County Schools Federal Credit Union management team in November 2012. Chris has over 33 years of Credit Union experience, both in small and large financial institutions. In his credit union career, he worked as a teller, a loan officer, and a branch manager before entering into Information Technology in 2000. This wide array of operational experience has given Chris a very unique ability to find ways to use technology to improve efficiencies in many of the different facets of the Credit Union.

"I am dedicated to providing East County Schools FCU and its member-owners with the most secure, stable, and efficient computing environment possible. I also understand the expectation of having secure, 24/7 access to account funds and information so that it's there when you need it. It is my goal to provide that...and in a way that is easy and enjoyable to our member-owners and staff."

Chris is a San Diego native, a loving father, and an avid outdoors enthusiast.
