New Mobile Check Deposit Endorsement Requirement

The Federal Reserve System has rules that govern the collection process for all checks (Regulation -CC). To protect against checks being deposited more than once, member-owners who deposit checks through East County School's Mobile App must now indicate on the back of their checks, their intention to deposit the check via Mobile Deposit. You can do so by adding the words "For Mobile Deposit Only" along with your signature on the back of the check when endorsing it.

As of July 1, 2018, this new endorsement, which includes the words "For Mobile Deposit Only" will be required to appear on your checks when depositing them through East County School's Mobile Deposit service. This will ensure that East County Schools will be able to continue to easily and quickly process all checks deposited electronically.

Kevin Miller likes to connect good people to great resources. He’s been an enthusiastic fan of East County Schools Federal Credit Union since 2013 when we were known to the education community as Grossmont Schools Federal Credit Union, more than five years ago. “Every person I’ve referred to ECSFCU has raved about the lower rates, better terms and great treatment they get.” From amazing auto loan rates to 0% interest classroom loans, he says, “There has never been a dropped ball or bad experience for anyone I’ve ever referred to ECSFCU.”
