Mobile Banking gives the ability to access account information using 2 different options depending on your preference and the capabilities of your mobile device: 1) Via the browser (Mobile WEB) on your mobile device, 2) Via the Mobile downloadable application (APP) for the iPhone or Android. Both the browser and application options allow you to: view account balances or recent account activity, transfer funds, pay your bills, find the nearest no-fee ATM or branch location.

East County Schools Federal Credit Union Mobile Banking is Free. However, there may be charges associated with text messaging and data usage on your mobile device. Check with your wireless device carrier for more information.

Data transmitted via ECSFCU Mobile is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology to provide the highest level of security available for phones. This encryption process converts data into unrecognizable data so if it were to be intercepted and recorded, no sensitive information could be retrieved. In addition, no account balance data is ever stored on your mobile device.

A text messaging and/or data plan is highly recommended, as text and data usage can become expensive without them. If you do not have a data plan, please check with your wireless carrier for more information regarding these services. Please note that you are responsible for any charges incurred from your wireless provider.

To use ECSFCU Mobile, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not yet enrolled, you may do so from your computer or mobile device. Once you are enrolled from one device, your user name and password will work from your other devices. And, for ease of use and convenience, your User ID and Password is the same for Mobile Banking and Online Banking.

iPhone®, iPad®, iPod® Touch and Android® are supported. If your mobile device is eligible to download an app, a message will appear on your phone that says "For a richer experience, download the mobile app to your phone." Just click or touch to download. You can also search for our app in Google Play or in the Apple App Store. Simply search "East County Schools FCU Mobile" and download to your device.

1. Download the App using your Mobile device. The App is required in order to access Mobile Check Deposit.
2. If you are not using an Apple or Android mobile phone, or you prefer not to download the App, visit https://www.eastcountyschools.org from your mobile browser. Select Mobile Banking. Then, simply log in using your Online Banking username and password.

There is no limit, however after the 3rd Access Point* (device or download) you will need to obtain a one-time PIN in order to register.

Go to the App store and download the App. Log in using your user name and password for Online Banking. You will receive a message that a one-time PIN will be sent to the e-mail of record at ECSFCU for the primary member of the account. Check your e-mail, then return to the App and enter this one-time PIN.

* "Access Points" include SmartPhone or tablet App downloads or the use of Browsers. After you have used any 3 combinations of each, you will need to obtain and enter the one-time PIN in order to register.

Yes. The application relies on the information from our credit union systems. None of your financial information is stored on your device when using the App, and you must have a network signal available when using the App.

It's easy! You will need to download the Mobile App to your phone. Open the ECSFCU Mobile App, select mobile deposit and simply follow the prompts as they are presented to you.

• Endorse your check by signing your name and writing "for mobile deposit only" on the back
• Select the account that you want to make the deposit to
• Enter the dollar amount
• Take a photo of the front and back of your endorsed check
• Finally, review your deposit information and submit

Our general policy is to make funds from your check deposits available to you on the first business day after we receive your deposit, however all checks are subject to verification and collection and a longer hold may be placed.

After your check is scanned, please store your check in a safe place for two weeks or until the deposit appears on your monthly statement and then securely destroy it or clearly mark it as "VOID" if you keep it for your records. Be sure the check is not rescanned or deposited elsewhere.

Only one check at a time is accepted, however you may deposit multiple checks during a single session. There is no limit to the number of checks deposited in one day, however the total dollar amount you may deposit each day will be displayed on your mobile device.

All personal and business checks, money orders and cashier's checks are accepted. Neither Foreign Checks nor Savings Bonds are accepted as they cannot be processed electronically.

Yes. They include:

• Altered checks
• Incomplete items (missing information, numeric and written amounts differ, item not properly endorsed, etc.)
• Non-negotiable items (such as coupons)
• Non-readable or non-visible MICR line items
• Deposits from the same account that the deposit is being made to
• Torn or damaged checks
• Stale dated checks. Most checks are staled dated after 180 days, however many may be staled dated sooner and this should be printed on the face of the negotiable instrument

No. The check can only be deposited into Mobile Deposit once. If you entered the check amount incorrectly, please call or text us at 619-588-1515 during regular business hours or send us an e-mail at memberservice@eastcountyschools.org.

A success message will appear on your phone. You can also review past mobile deposits on the Mobile "Deposit History" screen.
