- The minimum required balance to open and obtain this APY is $10,000
- The maturity date will be 13 months from purchase and on that date the balance will automatically transfer to your Share Savings account unless you designate otherwise
- This certificate will not be renewed upon maturity

Dividends are calculated based on the daily balance of your certificate. Dividends begin to accrue on the business day of your first deposit, even for non-cash items, for example, checks. Dividends are compounded and credited monthly on the last day of the month as well as paid upon maturity.

With the exception of dividend deposits, no further deposits are allowed. Withdrawals before the maturity date will close the certificate. If you close the certificated before dividends are credited, you will receive the accrued dividends, less any penalty. The penalty for early closure is: 90 days of calculated dividends.

New Money is defined as funds not currently on deposit with East County Schools Credit Union, or having been deposited after December 16, 2022 or for less than one month, whichever is the lesser time frame.
