Annual Meeting & Board of Director Voting Information

Annual Meeting February 23, 2023

Our Annual Meeting will be held in person at our El Cajon main branch on Wednesday, February 23, 2023 at 5:15 PM Pacific Time. All primary ECSFCU Member-Owners are invited and welcome to attend. The results of our Board of Director election will be announced during the annual meeting.

Board of Director Voting (closed Feb. 11, 2022)

Member-owners of East County Schools Federal Credit Union vote each year as they wish to be represented. This year, there were three open positions and five candidates running for the volunteer Board of Director positions. Voting ended on February 11, 2022 and the results will be announced at the Annual Meeting.

Any and all primary members were eligible to vote online. In January, paper ballots were mailed to all primary member-owners with no valid email on record at the credit union. Each primary member was able to vote one time. If a member votes both online and via paper, whichever was received first was deemed valid and the second was discarded.

The term of office for the three candidates with the highest number of votes will be February 16, 2022 through the Annual Meeting in February 2024.

While overseas I found myself in the frightening situation of being out of cash and with two debit cards from other financial institutions that weren’t working, despite my travel notice pre-planning. ECSFCU’s amazing member services team stayed late on a Friday to approve and immediately fund a quick loan that made the rest of our trip wonderful. Nobody else does that! Not only is it something that I will never forget, but it’s something I want to tell everyone about.
